Kovly prob felt ward was doing nothing so kovy didn't do as much as he could have. Whilst ward wasn't doing much the judges had other ideas and were actually scoring that bs..
So in actual fact it's conning kov at end of the day.
Kov is just doing as much as he thinks he needs to do. He didn't think ward was doing anything so brings his level down to wards. But the judges are actually scoring ward?

Do you watch those FS1 cards with the prospects? The Hooker decision is common with prospects because they don't want to derail the kids career with a loss. You hear stories about promoters telling them just finish on their feet and they are good.

Not trying to justify it because it was a horrible decision. But that's common with up and coming fighters. He clearly doesn't have "it" and will get his coming for him soon.

Kovalev vs Ward I look at it as the range of possible scores was 115-112 for Kovalev to 114-113 for Ward. I find it odd that all 3 judges had the balance beam tilted in Wards favor but the scores themselves were justifiable. I think a split draw or majority draw would be the most likely outcome in such a close fight.

This is a good point and true. Just shows that perception and history seems to play a big part in a lot of scorecards.

yea it was weird that all 3 saw it like that, they can protect theyr decision doe.

Yea prospects often wins even when they lose,i swa Hooker fights where he was better imo he was head hunting,he can do better, but i agree he will lose soon.

have a good day sir,Green given for fair and honest talk

How would u score the 3nd half of the Oscar Trinidad fight?

Oscar was backpedall ing and landing jabs while Trinidad pursued.
