    Boxing losing fans

Last night proved why UFC is kicking boxings ass , the sport is still corrupt as ever and without a proper commission it will continue to plummet I just can't watch blatant robberies and neither can anyone else ordering these ppvs with eyes.

Bad decisions happen in the UFC too. Thing is the UFC actually makes an effort to improve MMA. There is a new MMA scoring system coming into effect in 2017 in fact.

Meanwhile in boxing no one has enough vested interest in anything outside of their own personal **** regardless if its a network, alphabet group, manager, promoter or fighter. There is no one looking out for boxing. Thats probably the biggest problem with boxing & its popularity suffering in the US. Its a structural problem not the problems we talk about all the time like the alphabet groups, the flawed scoring system, etc & so on.

Having 10-10 rounds or 10-9.5 rounds when they are close it wouldn't hurt...

Lotsa things would help boxing, but the problem is no one is captaining the ship to see the bigger picture for boxing + pull the trigger on changes that would make boxing better. Its a bunch of independent guys or companies looking out for their own best interest. Change will always happen too slowly in such an atmosphere.

Thats probably why boxing has become so much more of a business than sport these days too. It used to just be the big promoters, alphabet groups & networks in on it, but I think its trickled all the way down to managers, trainers & of course fighters now as they've finally realized they are like their own small business & should act accordingly for their & their families own best benefit.
