Larry is the other side of the coin to the guys who think every fighter with any sort of aggressive streak is a dumb brawler. He's stuck in an older view of the sport where you couldn't fight on the back foot all the time and still win rounds. Retreat itself cost you points.

His strongest critics are more like him than they think though. They seem to believe that the backpedalling fighter is always the more skilled, and that a fighter who comes forward is just a crude club fighter who happens to punch hard.

You don't judge a fight at the end and say who had the best punches overall. It's round by round. Krusher had 4 great rounds and the other rounds were close. It's one thing to disagree with the decision, that's what happens in a close fight, but to say there was robbery based on race and nationality is utter nonsense. It is just a cheap means of discrediting others opinion that Ward won the fight.
