Yeah i hear you. I used to like HBO's commentary back in the day, but some of those guys need to call it a day now. They're constantly talking over each other.

British commentary plus Paulie Malignaggi was an embarrassment. Brits usually are incompetent when calling matches, the bias is so obnoxious and pushing a certain narrative over being objective.

I think from around round 8 Kellerman decided not to acknowledge anything Kovalev did which was annoying.

And Roy was talking like Ward was gonna stop Kovalev. Great fight. But Ward would struggle to put Kovalev out with a baseball bat. You tend to listen when a fighter says that but I can't even imagine what he was seeing.

tbh I rarely go along with the line of thinking that says "boxers know more than posters", but this is one time I'll side with the boxer.
