Rewatched it , not a fan of either (i did want Kovalev to win but i didn't mind a Ward win) , i am not sure how can Ward actually win this fight.... after the first 5 + the KD Kovalev was MILES ahead , are you going to tel me Ward actually pitched almost complete shutout since that ? common .... every close round went to him ? if thats not bias nothing is , he was the champ you gotta BEAT the champ ward never came close , sorry but this was a bad decision nothing can be said or done about it now , but poor kovalev , i hope he gets a chance to rematch Ward and that we get a clear winner.

Ward showed the wrestling in this fight thought he was Khabib. Kovalev should've finished Ward after the second.

I don't understand why boxers worry about length of the fights. A 3rd round KO is better than a 12 round fight.

Much respect to both fighters. Kovalev is a beast and looked good out there I must admit. The rematch has to happen next. No tune ups, no waiting this absolutely needs to happen next.

This fight lived up to the hype. It could have gone either way I wouldn't have been made. A draw would have been cool as well. Rematch needs to happen though.

people complaining about Ward's wrestling in this fight clearly did not watch the fight...Kovalev was doing the majority of the holding and the one pushing Dre into the corners and trying to literally wrestle him bcuz they had clearly trained for Ward's inside fighting and planned to smother it with holding on the inside to not let him work.

Kovalev deserved the win just as much as Ward did so I understand the dissapointment but it was a give and take fight that could have gone either way and for a guy who got off to such a good start as Kov did, his team should be complaining less and taking a look at themselves a little more, they gave that fight away. Kovalev had other wrinkles like the body punching and he didn't do any of it to adjust until late in the 12th round.
