7-5 means Ward wins by one point instead of two, because of the single point deduction.

Agreed. I also think that if two people punch at the same time, those shouldn't be scored either. In fact, I think boxing would be better if they each just took turns. Neither guy is allowed to move, although you can block.

So no punches inside should be counted, and no punches should be counted while both are throwing at the same time, bye bye Danny Garcia, and counter punches also shouldn't be scored as that's cheating because you're punching when the other guy doesn't want to be punched and isn't ready for it.

Excellent post Bo. I really enjoyed what was a great back and forth fight, and I've already forgotten it just from the amount of madness coming out everywhere.
