People need to remember Kovalev was the champion.

You are like the fifth Ward fan I read here admitting that Kovalev won. Most of the journalists also saw Kovalev win. Everyone outside the US saw Kovalev win. Many people in the US, in the crowd, and Ward fans, saw Kov win.

    This is an embarassment.

        Hope a rematch is made.
All those saying WARD dominated KOV are downright hating.

Which Ward most definitely didn't do in this fight. It was a terrible decision.

Disgraceful decision. If you are American and you think Ward deserved this decision you should be ashamed of yourself. We don't need a Sven Ottke here.

Kovalev edged out Ward comfortably because so many of Wards "punches" were messy superficial taps as the ref was breaking them. You ignore those, and he was outboxed most rounds + dropped.

Perez should pursue legal action for clearly bribed judges. I can't remember the last fix that shameless and blatant. Boxing is still as shady as it was in the 20s.
You are correct. All these decades later with TV broadcasts as clear as crystal, guys still get screwed right and left. It's a shame.
