    Great point!

Why would anyone join a boxing discussion website to debate a contentiously scored fight?

Nothing more to say folks. Everyone leave the website in an orderly fashion.

Just rewatched 10th round. How all the judges gave that round to ward is beyond me

Kova dominated the round with his jab

Crowd played a huge part imo in influencing inept judges

        lets see the rematch........
Haha, yeah, Ward looked 2 feet tall and 60 lbs.

For Ward to win with those scores means that he won 8 rounds to 4 yes i took the kd into consideration other wise it would of been 7-5. i do not see where Ward won 8 rounds.....

Their ******. I had no problem which way it went. Kovalov looked like he weighed 185-188 and Ward looked around 178. I saw the size difference also.

I'm sorry I just can not give Andre 7 rounds. I think Kov won 5 of the first 6 and definitely didn't get swept in the last 6. If you gave Ward every close round then I can maybe see 6-6 with Kov still winning but I just can't justify 7 rounds.

The judging tonight was god awful. Curtis Stevens was scored way wider than it actually was, Perez possibly won his fight 10-0 and was given a draw and I think Kov beat Ward.
I'm with you, only I was rooting for Ward but as a christian man I won't lie, not even for my brother. Everything you said here is spot on.

I think ward just barely managed to squeeze it out. He kind of took over the second half of the fight and one 1 early round. By scoring the fight i have to give it to him. Im not just looking at the KD and automatically saying kovalev won like alot of you are doing.

I thought Ward pulled it out. I wouldn't have been upset if it was given to Kovalev or declared a draw. It was definitely close. Just thought Ward took a lot of the later rounds and made up the deficit.

                      I scored 114-113 Ward.

Will rewatch the fight later, but I believe I gave round #3 to Ward. Possibly #5? Don't remember the rest of the rounds, but he definitely didn't win the last 6 or 7 straight through.
