I wrote my argument earlier in this tread.
The commentators I was watching was colonel bob and some guy, they where rooting for ward but they both had kovalev up on two points. I hear hbo also had kovalev up. Ward never dominated any rounds unlike kovalev.
Kovalev is the champion and he had plenty of countershots to the body while ward was jumping in to clinch so he could land his body punches.
Kovalev was the agressor in the fight.
You don't happen to be black?
If so you and others don't do yourselves any favør with being so biased.

Didn't get to see any adjustments from Kov, he couldn't win a round 6-12. Ward on the other hand couldn't win any rounds 1-5 but adjusted marvelously to win 6-12. U say Kov can adjust but he couldn't and didn't once Ward figured him out . Otherwise u had a great post here, especially acknowledging how Ward slowed him down with his dedication to the body. Most blind Kov fans refuse to see that Kov ran out of gas ⛽️ in the 6th

Just got through watching the fight and had Kovalev winning 114-113. I honestly didn't think the fight was as entertaining or as great as Kellerman, Lampley and Jones was trying to make us believe. I just caught a replay of JMM vs Jaun Diaz on Fox a few minutes ago and that Is how you do It.

This is exactly what's wrong with boxing today. Shady decisions. I suspected going in to this fight that for Kovalev to get even a draw he' d still have to knock Ward out. This wasn't the only fight with a corrupt decision. Perez easily won the fight before and got a draw! I feel bad for Kovalev, and this fight just shows how crooked boxing is now a days.

A joke is that "casual box fans" call that decision a joke. Ward won at least 6 rounds and it was a close fight by any means.

You don't win a fight solely for a knockdown at the beginning. You win a fight by points or by a knockout. PERIOD.

Because I'm a huge fan of boxing and this kind of sh.its are destroying the sport that I love.

And is sad read ****** patriotic fans saying that Ward won.

He did not merits to win and that's easy to see for a good fan of boxing.

Go back and cut the sound off and don't listen to Jim Lampley or Harold Letterman because HBO broadcast will have you think a fighter is doing more than they are. I am a fan of both fighters and boxing and if you take it round by round I had Ward winning 7-5 plus the knockdown so 114-113 Ward. The fight could have went either way, if Kovalev would have got the decision I couldn't of been mad at that because there were some close rounds that could have went either way. The way I seen it I had it 7-5 Ward. Someone else could of had 7-5 Kovalev and that's cool I would of been ok with that.
