Kovalev definitely won a good 5 or 6 of the first 7. So if you have him winning 6, then you have Kovalev winning.

kovalov did great for the first 5 rounds (even though he lost the 3rd) the problem is he let ward do a crucial amount of body work (which was not counted by guys like you) and control the range of the fight. kovalovs head was snapping back and he was being lead into traps.

Everyone needs to stop saying robbery, fight was very close and had alot of swing rounds wich could have gone either way. I have no problem with kova or ward winning thats how close it was and honestly might have even been a draw.

You have to understand kovalev faded in the second half and ward looked alot sharper thats why they scored the fight for him.

Americans have to stop pretending hometown advantage doesnt matter in america.....the only reason Hooker and Ward won is that they had the system in their favour....pure bull****....Ward played defense to set up a bunch of ineffective shots and kept active inside....he did nothing but hope that judges would give him dead rounds with flashyness..all the real competitive boxing punches were landed by Kovalev. I think Kov won by 1 round. I can understand the high emotions. I was rooting for Ward tho. Not a robbery by any means. But have st it guys.

Judges got it right. I scored it 114-113 Ward, he took control over the 2nd half. Good, close fight.

People dont give body shots enough credit, Ward was landing clean upstairs also. Kov landed some hard punches but not alot of them, Kov didnt do nearly half as much to the body.
