I expected this to happen eventually, but have speculated for a while that SHO / Haymon wanted to delay it til after the SHO winter schedule had been completed, certainly they didn't want it conflicting with the Dec 10th kick off which I suspect was being finalised around the time the GGG - Jacobs negotiations began.

I like this fight even more than Ward vs Kovalev. Jacobs is a killer. If GGG fights him no fair minded person can say he didn't fight the best. If GGG beats him no fair minded person can say beating Jacobs wasn't a great win.

Keeps his schedule and fight who? Another bum? I'd rather him sit another month or two than crush another can. No more can crushing for this guy. It's time to step up. Two good fights a year is better than 3-4 cans a year!!!

I'll believe it when I see it officially announced. These in 2 weeks we'll agree on something bs type news stories tend to have a low conversion rate of happening. Hope it does happen doe. GGG needs to fight as many top guys as he can before he gets too old & Jacobs needs to do more interesting **** than he'll likely do if a fight with GGG doesn't get made.

Great News! Like I posted I think Silence from both sides is a great thing that means negotiations are still on going and neither has left the table and haven't started talking about other opponents so hopefully it gets done!
