          Worth pointing out he can make more than $2m against Ward should the event sell well, but then again we don't k now the details on the PPV structure, perhaps most of it goes to Ward, perhaps that was the only way to make the fight, we don't know the specifics of the negotiations (Ward is notoriously difficult to deal with so that very well could be the case).

                nope. that is how most foreign fighters get paid. kovalev has a home here in la and also several in russia
