Lol. I'm supporting Kovalev and Ward their entire careers, I had no emotional investment in this fight hence why I'm not upset like you.

That's the beauty of it. Those who like both fighters were the real winners in Saturday.
I've been a long-time Ward follower but I really didn't want to see Sergey look bad. It was hard to imagine either losing and I'm really glad Sergey, in defeat, at least still has the support of the fans. He looked amazing and I wouldn't be sour had he got the nod (though I felt Andre was the rightful winner).

My favorite quote of the night was when Andre was asked about the KD and he said, "Virgil told me I might get knocked down. He said, 'You might get knocked down because you're going to have to go take it.'"

If Virg wasnt in his corner he'd have lost, if Kovalev trained by Virg he would be the no.1 in the sport right now, it's actually frightening he good Kovalev would be if he had that elite level trainer like Hunter.
