HBO must be irate behind closed doors that the guy they hyped up won't grow a pair and fight a challenge. We know they were heavily interested in lining up the Jacobs fight for Dec 10, only for Golovkin to let them down. The HBO brass must be shaking their heads wondering why Golovkin can't fight stiff opposition like Ward, Kovalev and Lomachenko are doing. On what information are you basing the claim that Golovkin 'let HBO down' over the Jacobs fight? Why is there the assumption that this is Golovkin's fault? GGG is trying to fight Jacobs in real life. Jacobs is twice the fighter Lara is in real life.Jacobs is a legitimate middleweight challenger in real life. Lara never beat a middleweight in real life and never made a cash offer to GGG to fight him in real life. Lara could have challenged other top middleweights and middleweight champions during the last couple of years he has been calling out GGG so why the hell didn't he?
