But if Gennady Golovkin's representatives cannot secure preferred middleweight title fights against Daniel Jacobs and/or Canelo Alvarez, DeGale (23-1, 14 KOs) is more than willing to move down a few pounds to meet Golovkin between the middleweight and super middleweight limits.

And? Froch body of work gave him the right to do whatever he wanted to do with his after career or appearance. I understand that Degale is a bit upset that Froch never fought him, but he fought Groves, there would always be a new younger fighter waiting for their chances and you can't fight everyone of them, one day you got to call it quit. Joe calzaghe never fought Froch.
