  • Comments Thread For: DeGale: Froch Won't Risk New Nose Against GGG, But I'll Fight Him

NEW YORK James DeGale made it completely clear Wednesday that he is not in any way overlooking Badou Jack. The confident British star realizes a loss to Sweden's Jack (20-1-2, 12 KOs) in their super middleweight championship unification fight January 14 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center disrupts anything else he'd like to accomplish in 2017. But if Gennady Golovkin's representatives cannot secure preferred middleweight title fights against Daniel Jacobs and/or Canelo Alvarez, DeGale (23-1, 14 KOs) is more than willing to move down a few pounds to meet Golovkin between the middleweight and super middleweight limits.

Finally someone's speaking the truth!!! Exactly my point in past threads, Frochy don't wanna risk his new nose job, nevermind his orbital bone.

Carls retired with a record that speaks for itself and is allowed to wear a new nose ,Degale will not come close to his achievements and needs more than just a new nose.

And? Froch body of work gave him the right to do whatever he wanted to do with his after career or appearance. I understand that Degale is a bit upset that Froch never fought him, but he fought Groves, there would always be a new younger fighter waiting for their chances and you can't fight everyone of them, one day you got to call it quit. Joe calzaghe never fought Froch.

I'm down for this, if BJS, Jacobs or Canelo are not available.
