wtf is dana talking about? before floyd was in his 4th division(147), his ko ratio was around 70% and higher than at 130.

McGregor is a swagger jacker, a culture vulture...be you bro

difference is, he mirrors things mayweather did and said but doesnt get half of the criticism, and has accomplished 20% of what floyd has athletically

be your own man, keep floyds jizz out yo mouth dana...must be a big fight coming up or something....he always talks about him when promoting

Floyd KOs Connor in both MMA and boxing. Connor isn't the type to try to take you down, his only chance would be to attack Floyd with kicks. Floyd with some training would be able to defend against kicks just like he does punches. It would be a stand up fight unless Connor panics an tries to take down Floyd. Connor would be eating straight rights and check hooks all day from Floyd. Lets be real, Floyd was giving beat downs at his younger age, he got older, hurt his hands and adapted a different fighting style to continue to become successful. We'll see if Connor is still around doing the same thing 10 years from now.

MMA is like 24 years old or so. Boxing is 124 years old so based on age, the salaries are comparable. Also, since there are so fewer weight classes in MMA, what McGregor has managed to do is pretty impressive in such a short elite career. No reason to hate on it.

That said, nobody can take away the way Floyd has elevated the sport and took it to new earning levels. I hope Connor can do that for MMA fighters who get taken massive advantage of.
Boxing club fighters make more than elite MMA fighters sometimes.

How many fights would his brittle hands last? Those gloves don't offer anywhere near the protection of boxing gloves.

At 28 years old Mayweather was a 35-0, 3 division champion with 24 wins by KO under his belt. McGregor is handling business but he'll never reach Mayweather in regards to division titles, longevity and/or money.
What's funnier is that not only was Mayweather the PPV king but also the P4P king. McGregor has a very long way to go.

Dana is doing a great job with UFC, he really gets it. Definitely knows what the consumers want. With so much hype and excitement for fights like Mcgregor vs Diaz where Diaz was far from elite, it still didn't matter and only boosted the sport exponentially no matter who won. The big flaw between boxing and UFC right now is how disorganized boxing is. UFC overall, whether true or not, seems to represent fierce king of the hill competition. The best of the best in MMA still have extreme lows and highs in their careers. Boxing though is disorganized with converging management styles and promotions/networks. Haymon, has exposed and hurt the sport. While, yes, he has maximized profits for guys like Danny Garcia and Guerrero who would never have seen that kind of success...the vast disparage between the haves of Haymon and have nots representing the majority of boxers is running the sport in the ground. Haymon basically is living in an eco-chamber where there is (x) amount of profits into the hundreds of millions in the boxing economy. From there he is not expanding the sports economy, lining his single digit favorites pockets, artificially holding his favorites at the elite level, and gradually the pie into smaller pieces. Leaving the sport in a worst place then where he started. I mean ****ing hell, the idea Danny Garcia the lineal undefeated light-welterweight would fight an unranked lightweight Rod Salka is criminal. UFC is definitely too "in house" and needs to breakdown the walls for it too become a staple. But boxing needs to do some serious surgery on itself. The excess sanctioning bodies, rankings, promoters, people sucking the blood out the sport....it needs to be taken down. The boxing establishment is failing the sport
