Comments Thread For: Dana White Tears Apart Floyd Mayweather Over McGregor Jabs

UFC President Dana White erupted when he was informed of the recent verbal jabs that were made by former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs). On Tuesday, Mayweather took several shots at the UFC's biggest superstar - featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor - who made UFC history last Saturday night at New York's Madison Square Garden, after knocking out Eddie Alvarez to become the first fighter to hold two UFC titles in two weight divisions.

If Mayweather wore 4 ounce gloves he'd be knocking out people too.

He has a point I guess, but if you're a true boxing fan you really appreciate Mayweather's grasp of the sweet science. It might not be an action packed slug festival with a KO, but watching him totally outbox people and appreciating the skill that requires is entertainment in itself.

Doesn't Dana White technically make more than Conor every fight? White's just shook because Conor been tapping into UFC % gains as of late. He'll say anything to make Conor feel better or have him gain publicity for his fans

Whats with the hype train on mcgregor. Yeah his a two weight division champion only because dana white let him. This whole 'made history' they're only doing it to add to his hype and capitalise on it. It's a disgrace mentioning mcgregors name in the same sentence as mayweather in terms of accomplishment. So I can understand why mayweather reacted the way he did
