The real problem for middleweight is that 154 is filled with guys that who no one outside of hardcore fans cares about.

Jermall made a statement against J-Rock but he's one of the only guys in that division who has done so. Trout, Vanes, Lara etc no one really cares. Lara had buzz up until that Canelo fight, but he put an end to that himself.

I'm not saying that there are no interesting fights for Golovkin, but there aren't many that people are going to get excited about.
