George Groves will be WBA 'Super' champion in two fights...

    George Groves' next two fights:

    • Eduard Gutknecht, 30-4-1 (13 KO) ~ WBA International title defence ~
    • Fedor Chudinov, 14-1 (10 KO) ~ vacant WBA Super title ~

That's a pretty underwhelming way to become a paper champion.

He does have a win over DeGale and has only lost 3 times so he isn't so bad. Maybe he would beat DeGale again.

I think he would beat DeGale again, DeGale goes missing for large swathes of the fight and has as many questions over his durability and stamina and Georgie does. They both know how to lose and don't appear to learn, I just think Georgie would want it that bit more after DeGale made it personal.

DeGale hasn't the power Froch has and he cuts exceptionally easily, Groves could even potential stop him, the new trainer Groves has will have him operating at a level he has never worked at before.

I used to really like Gutknecht felt he was jobbed versus Braehmer, those stopping by the waist tactics because he was woefully unfit reminded me of when Povetkin fought Hück. I used to hate on those two after those fights.
