I'm a GGG fan, but for the GoloveTards who asked why GGG should sign for a fight almost a year away.
    This is it.
    Canelo has too many options

February may be too close?? but it may be possible. 5 de Mayo may be a better sell....let Cotto and Canelo both have a shake-up fight in Feb, turn around and fight in May.

not interested in a rematch. Cotto/Bradley is much more interesting IMO. Maybe even Cotto/Lara

Cotto's inactivity really points to him fighting once more next year around this time and prob again 2018. He has done well to preserve himself in the last 5-6 years with the long layoffs. He is well managed. Roc Nation gave him confidence-boosting fights after rough losses. Boxers should take note of how to responsibly handle your money, while also being an stand-up role model.
He will probably fight Marquez. I doubt Bradley is in the mix. It is a bad style matchup for him. Cotto has lost his inside power beyond 147, and Bradley will be fleet feet on him all night.
1st ballot HOFer, but probably getting time to hangup the gloves. He had Canelo in the first fight. Cotto was ripping combinations but only in spurts. He just could not keep his foot on the gas.
Hang em up champ. Someone will call you out of retirement. That's just how it goes

It means they fought at the Junior Middleweight division. So when Pacman when up two divisons to fight Oscar de la Hoya at 147, and Oscar drop one division it was a catchweight according to ur belief. To me they just met at the Welterweight Divison.

why would canelo fight him. Canelo easily beat him and it was a boring fight. No reason for a rematch, i'd rather see diva cotto fight bradley
