Even if Marquez loses a fifth fight that KO is not going to go away. It was a thing of beauty how Marquez timed him. Marquez already had knocked him down with the same shot earlier in the fight.

well, if manny some how was able to score a ko of his own. that ko from marquez will not be talked about as much anymore since he got knocked out himself. so i see why he doesnt want to take that risk. if manny knocked marquez out, marquez ko of manny will be a shadow, because everytime they bring that ko up, they will have to follow it up with the ko manny got of him. so it wouldnt mean much anymore.

The first 3 fights were super close decisions...
Maybe even contested... But the forth fight not only did Marquez drop him in the 3rd round, He delivered the most brutal knock out I've ever witness in an elite level prize fight.

I thought Manny was dead. Enough is enough. It wasn't even a lucky punch. It was a perfectly place countered delivered by a great counter puncher in round 42. That rivalry is dead! Bury it!

There is no such thing as a lucky punch, these dudes are professionals, HoFers who have over 50 fights experience, Marquez saw Pacquiao rushing to him, so he set up a straight right counter.
