He doesn't need to dream - he just needs to remember.

I really believe JMM is so satisfied with that 4th fight, that he's exhausted by the thought of fighting Pacquiao again after what happened in the trilogy. It's a good move by JMM, just let that KO sit in Pac's head for the rest of his career, just like those first 3 fights are sitting in JMM's head
PAC could have fought him again for a better pay day.

It was far from lucky punch

        1. He landed a hard right hand that sent Pac flat on his back earlier in the fight

        2. The KO punch was a perfectly placed, straight right counter punch aimed at an unsuspecting, wild Pacquiao just like the first KD

        3. If Pac had miraculously gotten up from that punch, it would have just happened again, given the way he was fighting so aggressive that night trying his best to KO Marquez

JMM is correct about the fight. We don't need another fight and Manny needs to move on. Why fight against JMM again when Manny will probably win against an old JMM?

Manny needs to move on and fight someone else like the young guys in the division. Give the young guys a chance to make a name for themselves.

Manny is still damaged from being put to sleep. His fighting style is different now after being put to sleep by Marquez.

It is actually marquez who is haunted because manny just snatched another title like a candy, while on the other hand, it is so very very hard for him to get his next division title (which he said is one of his dream) because he is so much careful on who to fight and when to fight. ( remember the chris john bonanza, that fight happened because of marquez is so careful not to fight manny again that it ended up very bad for him there in Indonesia, he not only got a very low purse money but a terrible loss as well.)

He tried to get the belt from Bradley but he didn't expect to get schooled instead. Then comes manny and just like that, got the belt from bradley like a candy and enhanced his legacy by beating an elite undefeated fighter on his utmost prime.

Marquez stated he didn't want to fight young hungry lion becasue he didn't want to be a stepping stone, he didn't want a rematch with manny too even though that will earn him a true retirement money because he knows manny will beat him easily next time around because of manny's new style not because of age because both of them are old anyway and manny pacquiao is more war torn than him and floyd combined please you're embarassing yourself if you're being dishonest about this fact. His reasoning is that, if manny won the 4th fight it would have been the last figh, but that's not true-- in boxing there's a saying "never say never", just because a fighter said he will retire doesn't mean he really meant it. If the money is good and the fans wants it again, bob arum and manny pacquiao will want the fight 10 times in a row, they will milk it as long as it can and as long as the fans allows it to.

Why are the fans keep on paying this rivalry? That's because they fight beautifully in the ring and because of that the fans will keep on paying for it because they know they will always get their money's worth.

It wasn't a 'convincing' beatdown. You knocked him out ...but he was up on all 3 judges scorecards so you were being outboxed (though very close)..and it looked like Pac was gonna close the show.

Over the course of the fight, Pac landed more. You knocked him him down first, and then knocked him out.

All because of Memo and whatever he gave you.

If you were dominating him, then yeah, ..case closed.. But JMM wasn't dominating him.

JMM is a punk plain and simple. Whiny little piss drinker ...

No need for the rematch. marquez is not a worthy opponent for pac now even they give marquez all the peds in the world.

Yeah agree a fifth isn't needed

Especially after how it ended. From reading the comments though I can still see that after all these years it still burns in Pacs faithful hearts

Lucky punch, Damn you guys sound ******ed as f.uck
