"A fight that would send boxing further back." Agreed, Mayweather needs to stay out of boxing. That last showing was a horrible display of horesht, Pacquiao raking him and the **** just caressing his face back.

Man, Marquez should just shut his roided, juiced up behind up by staying retired and keeping his opinions to himself.

No one cares about what he has to say anyway. If he is so concerned about Pacquiao's career and Floyd beating him again, then why don't he challenge him as his next opponent then?

If not, then he should just shut up.

He's right. There will be a rematch and it will be even more boring than the first. JMM and Pacquiao always gave the fans their money's worth.

JMM is only jealous, because there is this big percentage that a rematch will be made and hes worried that PACMAN will win which will dilute his angel win over Pac.

I can't help but to agree. I don't want to see a rematch. I would much rather see him fight the guys he mentioned: Thurman-Garcia winner, brook-Spence winner, and/or Crawford. Maybe Cotto (probably not happening), but that's it. Despite all the disgruntled fans about May-Pac 2, it will still probably be the 2nd richest fight ever if it happens, which is probably why it will happen, unfortunately...

The first win was uncontroversial. Only Pac extremists think it there was controversy.

No it was controversial in so many ways. Not just the result.
But floyd needs dance partner for 50 so pac is credible opponent

Marquez is right, it would be more of the same, and the result would be the same, even with the long layoff for Floyd. I think if Pacquiao goes to 140, we will see him look much better, but Loma would be a better opponent than Crawford! I think Bob Arum knows this too!

Big fan of Pac.. I'd prefer him to face Crawford or Brook next. If he wins that, then the winner of Thurman-Garcia.

Win both, then... that'll definitely add to his legendary status.

Yea, he could beat Mayweather. But more likely Floyd won't engage and will just use his height, reach advantages and move around.

Pac still a great boxer and will beat pretty much everybody but his workrate 6 years ago would have forced Floyd to take action.

6 years too late... and there's a chance it could hurt boxing again.

That said, of course I'd watch.
