          Sugar Ray Lenard vs Hagler...I dont know which one but I know I had to be about 6or7yrs...My grandmother had a bunch of people over and they were into the fight heavy..she let me sit in....I just remember sugar started doing that dancing **** on hagler...it tripped me out....

                i remember watching tyson-mcneely and tyson-holyfield when i was really young...my grandfather was big into boxing.

                  Ali vs Spinks I.

                  I must have seen him fight before because I knew who he was and kept asking my dad why he doesn't knock Spinks out, why isn't he fighting back?

                  Unfortunately, seeing my hero fall prey to age and ill-conditioning to an undeserving fighter is seared on my memory stronger than anything I'd seen before. I'll never forget the tears in my eyes and the hurt in my heart as dad just said, "Old Ali underestimated him."

                  That was my first glimpse that even heroes are human and subject to failure....and so was Ali.

                  I was 7.

                    i remember having a silly little red punching bag on a short pole sticking out of a flat metal thing that you stand on. It was a boob boom mancini toy punching bag. and i also remember throwing the indestructible original nintendo controller and punching the tv screen when i'd play punch out too.
