he fights for a living, so I wouldn't say he's scared, but let's be honest here...
they are only coming around on the idea of this fight because EVERY other fight they wanted won't happen soon enough for them to be able to avoid this one.
This!!
Simple really. Fight your mandatory or get stripped!!!
Now lets wait and see if they actually go though with this fight or whether Eddie Hearn is just blowing hot air. It would not be the first time he has done a bait and switch!!

Unifications rank above mandatories, so no that's not the case.
When will ppl accept Brook aint scared of no one you should at least respect him for being one of the few active fighters who will fight anyone now he never wanted the **** hearn was feeding him with gavin ect
If he fights Spence next who most of you claim is the second coming of SRR and wins dont be claiming Spence was all hype
The Spence fans are even more delusional than the GGG ones. Algieri(damaged) and Bundu(ancient) are the standout names on his resume. The guy has literally done nothing so far that tells me he can beat the likes of Brook or Thurman. Kell did pretty well at handling GGG's power for a few rounds and coming back with nice counters of his own. I look forward to seeing what happens to Spence when someone can take his power and return shots of their own.
Definitely. Difference is that Spence isn't fighting Kell Brook of 2012.
But Kell Brook is fighting that Errol Spence.
If only you can convince Brook of that then this fight will be easy to make as it was easy to make the fight against Jo Jo Dan or Kevin Bizier.
Some how something tells me he is fully aware of the risks involved against "that Error Spence".
The only way Brooks steps in the ring with "that Error Spence" or any of the WW champs for that matter is by being their MANDATORY otherwise no one messes with him!!
Spence has earned that mandatory position.
I respect Brooks but think he is WAAAY overrated based on his body of work.
I have been in this business long enough to know that fights are never won on paper but i am willing to place my bet on Spence in this one.
Brooks has the chance to prove us all wrong or get stripped!!!
