They are. But against GGG they have no hope.

Against each other excluding GGG they make some genuine exciting match ups, agams GGG they become one sided beat downs.

They would look good on his resume.

What fighters do you think have hope against GGG?

        .
as i said i would favor golovkin against either guy but i feel both of the potential opponents i mentioned in this post have more than enough firepower and skill to make it interesting and definitely worth watching...

floyd is one of my favorite fighters in the history of the sport and although i dont single handedly blame him for fights with tzsyu, casamayor, freitas or margarito not happening,it doesnt mean i didnt want to see them even though im of the opinion he beats all those guys fairly clearly with the toughest of the four being tzsyu...
I don't think he minds facing no hopers and scrubs at 160 until he cashes his golden ticket, why should he move up the money is at 160 in destroying overmatched opponents and facing Canelo, that fight will happen down the line if he waits until 2018-2019. I don't see it happening next year definitely not, GGG will need to show signs of decline and or accept a CW to make it happen, Canelo has a hugely fruitful future, if he faces GGG that guy will literally destroy a huge swath of his marketing ability. In many ways you can not blame Canelo he's looking after his earning ability as GGG is holding out at 160 to look out for his earning ability, it's frustrating knowing GGG could likely clear out 168 as he has 160 though I genuinely believe he is a special talent and is wasted but for his own financial gain at 160.

No way does Canelo Jacobs or anyone else for that matter south of 168 beat GGG, if you think Canelo or Jacobs would beat GGG you've been drinking the kool aid.

Canelo losing to GGG now wouldnt ruin him for the future, unless he got KOd in round 1 or something.

No one at 160 or below, I think you've to look closer to 168 and even then I think you're hard pressed to find someone who convincingly looks better than him, DeGale could potentially outbox him but I don't see him being able to take GGG's barrages, Jack meh no chance, Zurdo definitely not. I think you've to look closer to an upcoming talent like Smith who busts his balls to make 168 that guy is a monster. Ward at 168 may be competitive but I think that'd be a step too far for GGG and the inability of Ward to be able to make that weight now rules it out, a catch weight to offset the natural disadvantages for GGG would be a fairer fight but that's a whole new topic and I don't want to touch on it.

Truth be told I actually think GGG would clear 168 out which is why I'm frustrated he resides at 160 facing overmatched scrubs who in a division without him would be in competitive action, mention Saunders, Canelo, Jacobs and Eubanks to me in the same breath to me and I think wow awesome fights right there to be made.

GGG would maul him he would absolutely undoubtedly damage his future career, earning ability everything, fighters are never the same after GGG has pushed his d1ck up their ass.

Did you see the look of anger Ingle shot the referee after he'd been trying to stop the fight for thirty seconds.

For the good of boxing as a whole it makes every sense, I tune in for competitive action not one sided beat downs.

I figured a guy like Jacobs can last 7-8 with him but maybe MW is too weak for GGG and it doesnt matter who he fights. Wouldnt mind seeing him kick Jacobs ass though
