Hatton had 1 fight at 147 before fighting FM, spent his career at 140.
Guerrero, 1 fight at 147 before Floyd, best days at 135 and below.
JMM, never at 147 before FM, top P4P guy at 135 and below.
Sugar Shane, 40 years old with 5 losses when he fought Floyd.
I think there's more to it than just naming fighters on a boxer's resume. Floyd was undefeated and best of his era, but unfortunately for him, talent wise the era was pretty thin. IMO

Mosley was 38, that you had to inflate his age by a whole 2 years speaks volumes of your personal bias against Floyd. Also, Mosley was p4p top 3 and just came from stopping Margarito for the first time in his life.

Hatton was undefeated and was calling Floyd out. If Floyd aint fought him, you'd be the first one calling him a duck right now, same with Marquez, who was also p4p number 2.

You say Hatton and Guererro had only one fight at welterweight? So fuucking what? How many super welterweight fights did Floyd have when he fought Dela Hoya, Cotto, and Canelo at super welterweight? Yeah, I thought so.

The style that Pacquiao seems to employ now, which is boxer-puncher, but much more boxer -- like the way he fought against Floyd, Bradley 3, and Vargas -- that style has zero chance against Floyd.

Zero.

The only chance he'd have is to throw a lot of punches. You absolutely have to be decidedly more active than Floyd. You have to. You can't be scared of getting countered by Floyd like he did in the first fight. You're going to get countered regardless. So throw caution to the wind and wade through the fire of those inevitable counter shots, accept that you'll get tagged with counters and hope that you can at least get the opportunity to land some big shots of your own.

Only chance.

Problem with that though is you know Floyd is gonna tie him up immediately once he gets in range. How do you get past that? I don't know if it's possible to be honest. Floyd has perfected that and uses it *******ly.

But regardless, IF they fight again...I can't imagine that Team Pacquiao would be brain dead enough to employ the same exact strategy in the first fight...right??

Were Hatton, Mosely and JMM legitimately threats to Pacquiao after Mayweather beat them? Or does their no threat rating only apply to Mayweather?

Is Mayweather the only boxer allowed to moved up and fight for a title immediately but not allowed to fight other boxers that are attempting the same thing?

Do the P4P rankings only have value to you when you agree with them?

Is interesting that boxers can be legitimate Welterweights prior to fighting Mayweather or after fighting Mayweather but not when they fought Mayweather.

My post was about FM not Pac.
Look at facts.
Look at their records at WW.
I see their wins and losses and my opinion is none of these guys(except for Mosley)was a legitimate threat at 147. As for Mosley, he was at the end of a great career but still a shot fighter when he fought Floyd.
You see things differently. We can argue facts (Isay Shane was 40, you call me on it , I check it and you're correct and I'm wrong. You can't do that with opinions, thats why I don't argue a guy's opinion
because you can't verify an opinion.
