Loeffler needs to evaluate the situation carefully. Take a break and think things through for a week or so. Forget the Canelo fight for now. It will eventually happen. Cancel the Jacobs fight and offer the fight to Eubanks, Lara and Saunders, who are all willing to start talks.

a mover/spoiler is exactly the kind to give him problems

Golovkin needs to plant to be effective

In that case, Murray beat Martinez and GGG beat the snot out of Murray.

Beating Murray, the legit and lineal middleweight champion of the world>>> beating a nobody who beat a guy who was beaten by Carlos Quintana.

Everyone is ducking Lara. Even Foreman wants none.

Stephen Espinoza also confirmed on reddit he can't get anyone to fight him.

Dude is the most ducked fighter in the world. Golovkin even decided not have a third fight for the first time in years instead of giving Lara a shot. What a shame.

Can't blame Foreman. Lara is high risk, low reward type of fighter.

I think I read somewhere that Harrison was demanding huge money for a Lara shot.

Didn't hear a peep from Lara about wanting to fight GGG in December.

Exactly. Lara is skilled but he's hit and run (mostly). Golovkin catches him once and breaks him in half. Right now the only interesting fight for Golovkin is Canelo Alvarez. But wait, he's a WW right now so GGG would get criticized again like he did with Brook.

All I know about Lara is that after watching a couple of his fights I never want to see him again, vs GGG or anyone else. Boring.

There will come a time when even Lara's typical low level opponents would want huge money before accepting the fight.

Look at his last four fights: Ishe Smith, Rodriguez, Zaveck, Martirosyan 2. Are these the types of fights you would expect from a guy who claims he wants to fight the MW champion?
