I am 100% positive that Team Golovkin are scared of that fight.

They have used every (ridiculous) excuse in the book to avoid that fight, just like they did with Andre Ward..... the only reason why someone would feel the need to use every-excuse-in-the-book is because they do not have a genuine reason.

If they had a genuine reason, they would say it.

Hard to keep up now, but I think that the latest documented excuse used to justify avoiding that fight arose immediately prior to the Monroe fight..... "Willie Monroe is a bigger draw than Lara".

If they had a genuine reason to avoid that fight, they would not have attempted to state that Willie Monroe is a bigger draw than Erislandy Lara.

We saw what happened in the Brook fight.....
..... well, Lara > Brook, in EVERY department.

The guys who they have avoided all have the same similarities, mover/spoilers who are notoriously difficult to look good against, the slick Cuban southpaw would give Golovkin fits..... they do not want to risk looking bad, failing to put Lara away, or..... heaven forbid, the unthinkable.

They are making the exact same risk/reward decisions as every other fighter..... they are taking the fights they want, and passing on the rest, just like everybody else.

Whether you are 100% convinced of GGG being scared, you and I both know GGG will be the living ish out of him!

People acting like Lara is being ducked because Foreman pulled out when a fight like that should not even be considered much less on the verge of happening. Guy hasn't done anything for 6+ years and isn't even in a position to get a shot at Lara says all you need to know about Lara/his teams intentions.

I can't speak for his team, but fans also forget that there is always a smoke and mirrors game between teams/promotors because at the end of the day it's still PRIZEfighting, so negations will always be there. And just like any business, the best business decision is not always the impulsive or emotional one. Me, as a GGG fan, I'd love it if he fights Lara. And Canelo. And Ward. and BJS. And Lee. And anyone else. Why not? What kind of a fan doesn't want their fighter to fight and beat the best? Etch his name into history? I can't call myself a fan of a fighter and be like "well, nah, X fighter might beat my fighter so I don't want that fight to happen". Negative. I'd be more along the lines of "well, dang. No one is giving my fighter a chance, and the other guy is scary, but F it. Go out on your shield trying to chase history!". Every fighter in my sig list, I want all of them to be challenged and to seek challenges. To be the best you have to beat the best. It might be out of your control, the possibility of it happening. If it's out of the fighters control then the fighter deserves no disrespect or hate. You have to be fair. If they flat out don't want it then that's cowardly and I would lose my fandom rapidly. I can't get behind of a man that has less character and heart than I do myself. ~wraps

Finally, a GGG fan with the right attitude. All respect to you. And yes, like I said, it could be GGGs people nixing the Lara fight, we don't know. But it needs to happen, yes.
