Sure man. It would be one of the better wins on GGG's record and since Lara apparently want it so bad, he will be happy to take a 90/10 split as his future earnings in case of a win will be outstanding.Comment

Lara: There'll Come a Time When Golovkin Won't Have an Excuse
WBA/IBO junior welterweight champion Erislandy Lara (23-2-2, 13KOs) is wondering what he needs to do to get WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs) in the ring.

Why didn't Lara ever try to fight Quillin or Jacobs instead of retired WW's - Delvin Rodriguez and Jan Zaveck? Even now fighting another retired fighter in Yuri Foreman instead of someone like Andy Lee or Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Hell he could fight Alphonso Blanco or Jorge Heiland instead of Foreman and become Golovkin's mandatory.
That said, I wish Haymon/K2 would've made a deal where Golovkin would've fought Lara in December, then Jacobs in March. Instead we got the usual boxing ****ery.Comment

can't make anyone fight if they don't want it. if you want a certain fight, put yourself into mando spot like how GGG did w/ WBC. If Lara wanted the fight, he would make moves. instead of trigger fingers he got twitter fingers.
Instead of waiting for the fight to be handed to him as most things are when living in a communist society, Lara has things he can do to put himself in closer position to get the fight.
he really don't want it though. actions speak louder than words all day every day. I thought a shot caller like Kigali would know that.but nope, he likes and supports fighters looking for socialist handouts.
Kigali probably voted for Bernie, then Hilary

So he had the options as follows fight someone for a big payday or don't fight anyone for zilch and lose out the cash you wasted on your training camp.
There won't be any hand me outs to Lara he has to earn it and likely it would only take one fight at middleweight so I don't see what the big deal is fight someone like T.Johnson get the win and If GGG and his team say nothing after Lara beats a top opponent at 160 If they ignore him then that is when you can call him out for ducking.
The PPV was at the 02 London where he KOed Frankie Gavin.Comment

the current Team Golovkin line is.....
..... " everybody is ducking us " >>> fight another no-hoper
I can't see 1 good reason in your post why that fight shouldn't happen
Lara should rightfully be ranked above all those guys you mentioned.
Golovkin can fight Brook, but Lara is unthinkable..... really?Comment

I didn't criticize him for wanting to fight GGG, I pointed out that there are two divisions of great fights out there so why not position himself better by beating a top guy in either division?Comment

The difference is Brook was a matter of timing based on the same promoter who promoted Eubank who pulled out. If Eubank had accepted the fight, Brook would not have been chosen. So answer my original question.Comment
