Clearly you haven't looked at his resume. Funny coming from a guy who defends Golovkin's resume daily. It would be more respectable if you said why you truly don't like Ward which is obvious.

because he is dirty and boring? yeah, but it's not hate, i just dislike him. i couldn't care less about his resume, he isn't about action at all and his last fights were against bums and he commanded millions for them (plus NSAC refuse to officiate a couple of them because the sugested opponents were terrible)

Ward is hated for the same reason that Martinez was hated.

The reason why Sergio Martinez was hated by a huge number of fans is..... because he publicly punked Manny Pacquiao while in pursuit of that fight, I remember it very clearly.

He punked Pacquiao the same way Ward punked Golovkin.

And it is largely the same fanbase.

Martinez: " ok, let's go..... at 150 "

Suddenly, Martinez became a coward and a bum..... and I suspect that is largely why a lot of fans flocked to Golovkin, because he was the only guy who looked like he could beat that mouthy punk Martinez LMAO

Did he? He was always willing to go to 150. After the Manny fight attempt fell through he said many times that he'd go to 150 for Floyd but Floyd ignored him. Don't remember the pacquiao situation but with Floyd this I know is a fact.

I don't think he copied his style, but he does have similar work ethic, professionalism and resume building. Both fought tough opposition, both dominated and both took the scientific approach. he's more like Floyd than any of these fighters just in the most positive way. he's like the anti-Broner in this regard. Broner did everything Floyd did on camera, Ward did everything Floyd did off camera.

no you have it wrong and are conflating events like everyone who loves ward does. ggg said anyone from 168 and tried to fight ward and ward said no i'm not ready. then years later when ggg said he was staying at 160 ward wanted to fight ggg while ggg was canelo's mandatory and for a 50-50 split so ggg said no obv since thats a bad deal. ward went on to say he was done giving ggg concessions so you can see how delusional he is when he thinks making ggg wait a year to fight and for 50-50 is giving him concessions.
