Well, the guy was almost decapitated by Marquez, lost a clear decision to Floyd, and though his win was solid, he's not throwing enough to win in the same overwhelming aye as before. He's trying to box. Roach doesn't know how to box, and thus he cannot teach Manny, which is why Manny has always had a harder time against pure boxers. He cannot throw 400 punches vs any top guy in the division right now and win. Thurman can hurt him, Spence WILL hurt him, Crawford wold beat him, even Brook could likely beat him. Vargas doesn't have the firepower, but caught Manny several times, he'll be KO'd again vs any good puncher with timing. Nobody wants to see that.
