Comments Thread For: Arum: Mayweather, Pacquiao on Good Terms - Easier To Deal

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has no idea if a rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will actually take place - but he gives the fight a very good possibility of happening in the first half of next year.

Floyd and Pacquiao are on good terms because Arum got exposed when Floyd met Manny in Miami. That's when Manny realized he signed a BS contract, and Koncz had to admit that they were lying to Manny all along! Before that, Manny thought Floyd was the obstacle, then he realized it was his team that was ****ed up!

Besides money, I guess this can be Floyd's 50th win. Manny has never been and will never be good enough to beat Floyd, especially now. He got a decent win and should just retire on that. Actually he should've stayed retired after a very good win over Bradley. Either way, he's lost too much and would be even less competitive (yes, even in slow mo) than last time.

Why is there so much speculation on Mayweather returning just cause he attended Pacquiao's fight? He just took his daughter to see a fight, i don't see why everyone is getting wet panties over this.

Because Pac fans hope for it regardless, for more exposure for Pac in general... many don't admit he lost the first time around so another opportunity is better than nothing.

more importantly, it's industry playing their part to provide any possibility for it, as they worked on it for years.. love or hate, they need Mayweather for Pacquiao spotlight to provide more controversy on who's better.

This article is incorrect, Floyd was at ringside watching Morales v Pac.
