There's the obvious ones which we all know about but the hidden gem that I'm always giving a shout out to is:

    Sweet Pea vs Black Mamba!

What an awesome fight man. Nobody talks about this fight tbh.

With that said, showing him/her old school fights is not fair. You will show the person some awesome fights then when they sit down to watch a modern fight that b*tch gonna walk right out. And you might get sued for false advertising.

Prince Naz vs Kevin Kelley is a cracking fight. Was described as the featheweight Hagler-Hearns. That would get almost anyone into boxing.

I hear hardcore boxing fans say this all the time, but the PPV numbers from the last 25 years don't support this.

Canelo is the most marketable fighter in boxing right now. How many 'wars' has he been involved in? How many were Mayweather involved in? What about De La Hoya during his PPV reign? Tyson?

Other than Holyfield (and maybe Pac), the whole 'casuals want wars' narrative doesn't hold up.

Casuals in boxing, just like every other sport, want STARS and to be associated with WINNERS. And fighting 'wars' do not necessarily translate into casual success.

                      Ray leonard-Hearns
                      Morales-barrera 1
                      chico-castillo 1
                      Marquez-Pac 4
Marquez-Jandaeng.... wasnt much of a fight but it shows marquez' full arsenal here. Fkin badass.. to me, this fight was where Marquez decided to drop his defensive style and become more offensive.
