He doesn't need to press hard for the KO, but alot of these guys just tuck their chins and wing away with overhands on Pac so it's difficult for him to get that money shot. I think he could stop guys by simply sticking some hard shots to the body a little more frequently, Vargas was wasted for the last 4 rd's and Pac did next to no body work, if he stuck some hard lefts to his body he'd have been even weaker. Pac's got the power to work with single shots and the speed to get you where you don't want to get it.

Roach has got some of you fooled. Roach is telling Manny not to go in recklessly and take unnecessary chances while in the corner. Sure both want the KO, but not at the risk of getting hit cleanly by a full on WW.
Manny played it correctly and I am sure Freddie was on the same page during the fight. Vision is 20/20 in hindsight. Freddie been in the game a long time. He knows what to say to get everyone's panties in a bunch.
TC @ 140 or 144. Bud is going to be good and give Manny fits, but let's not forget Manny hits hard @ 147. At 140, he hits like Tyson used to. I don't think Bud has ever been hit as hard as Manny hits and couple that with not seeing/bracing for the punch, it could be light's out.
Top Rank wants the fight, Manny don't seem to mind it and Freddie says if that is the fight, then so be it. We will see after the new year. Money has got to be right for both Manny and Bud.
He just beat Vargas and we are heading in to the holidays. This story line will be picked back up in 2017.Comment
