If GGG beats the winner of Ward-Kovalev..would that secure him in the hall of fame?

      Twice the size.

People only asking him to do what Brook did. Great fighters do great things. You Golovtards keep calling him great don't you think it's about time he did something great?

Even if Golovkin were to decide to go up to 175 and fight the Kovalev-Ward winner, his boxing resume would have all of two fights that you could point to as being legit fights (with folks likely uneasy of even talking about how the middleweight champion decided to fight a welterweight champion).

How many folks are in the hall of fame because they dared to be great in one fight?

Let's be real here. Billy Conn challenged Joe Louis for the Heavyweight title and was at a 32 lb disadvantage. I am more than confident that Golovkin would have no problem with Kovalev's size which would only be 1.5 inches according to boxrec and GGG fans. Kovalev is a skinny light heavy too, not like he has a lot of bulky muscle like Stevenson. Golovkin also wrestles heavyweights with ease from what I hear. Ward isn't known for his strength either.

they rather brag that he dropped him in sparring..but he does not have to back it up in a actual fight
