differnce is, canelo tried to box with khan, to prove his boxing skills and he looked slow and clumsy. Golovkin said he was going to bullrush brook and thats exactly what he did. If he spent a few rounds trying to outbox brook and ended up losing everyround i would think, yeah maybe GGG isnt that great of a 'boxer'. but his gameplan was to just break him down and he wasnt concerned with what was coming back.

I think on this site people dont really have the ability to look past the last fight of an opponent, which is why so many people suddenly said kovalev will lose after the chilemba fight, and why canelos suddenly gone from having no chance to the fight being 50/50 after the brook fight
      Showing your limited knowledge there.^
His ring IQ has become one of the best in the biz. Part of that comes from the brilliant game-planning. He knew to pursue Lara in the later rounds, which won him the fight. He knew he couldn't be as fast a Khan so he invested in the body, which won him the fight within a few rounds. Against Cotto, he was able to avoid most of the veteran tricks Cotto tried to wrangle him into and fought an incredibly smart fight.

Casuals dismiss Canelo's skill and ring IQ because they look at him and see a guy who doesn't speak much, knocks people out, and they assume he's some kind of brawler or power puncher. He's got a lot of complexities to his game. Not just combos. Traps and counters are a HUGE part of his game. Look at the way he lured Smith into a false sense of security at the end by letting him get off and just responding with some pitty-pat punches before BOOM. Sure, there have been better boxers, but that doesn't mean we can pretend a like a slob like Lemieux beats Canelo.

          Andrade destroys Canelito.
Canelo is sucker for uppercut? gtfo you dont even watch fights, it was Andrade who was seriously hurt by uppercutt inside, Canelo have no reason to fight him ,What mr Adrade bring to the table ,he is better Then Tune up like Smith but worse than money fight Cotto.

Good god, you have no idea what you're watching. Canelo was investing in body work from the gate and it won him the fight. He never thought he was going to out-box Khan, which is why he was working the body.

GGG did not bullrush Brook, he tried to box with him for the first couple rounds and was getting clowned. When that didn't work, he THEN changed gameplans and pressured him, which is what won him the fight.

You can't just regurgitate the incorrect info you picked up from other guys here and expect to not get called on it.

If that were true....he would have given Floyd a run for his money.

He looks complex as long as he's in with the likes of Smith...Khan...and Kirkland.

I still try to figure out how that thing works
Agree only with Usyk ,GGG style is not even comperable to how Canelo or Usyk box .

What did Kirkland bring to the table??

5'7 Canelo won't go near Andrade....for obvious reasons.

If you don't think he's improved dramatically in the 3+ years since that fight, then you haven't been paying attention.
I didn't even think he show much depth until he fought Lara.
