there is a significant gap between the standards that each of those fighters are held to

    there are many examples
Example; if Manny loses tonight, would it hurt his legacy at all? Now if Floyd lost to Canelo or GGG @ 154, what would the sports world say?

He fought Canelo at 152, doubt if he give lil g any special treatment.

Floyd moved up 5 weight classes.

You want gennady to move down, but you don't want gennady to move up.

you wanna see gennady fight a smaller man who is 40 (floyd). But you had no interest in seeing gennady fight a bigger man who is in his prime. (Ward)

        Typical fanboy ****

it wouldnt hurt manny's legacy but it will put a dent in his name for losing to a lesser name like vargas. floyd losing to canelo or ggg wouldnt hurt his legacy either but put a dent in his name as well since his "0" will be gone. you act like floyd losing to canelo or ggg will take him off the ATG list or something.

              why not fight again?

what floyd money mayweather is tired of 100 million payouts?

Nobody wants to see floyd beat somebody he already beat.

Why is that hard to understand?

he beat an injured pacquiao and used an illegal iv deemed by the WORLD ANTI DOPING AGENCY as a ped masking maneuver popularized by lance armstrong.

as if boxing always showed fight the fans wanted to see, and always at the right time...

Berto wasn't a comeback fight, Berto was nothing more than a victory lap and a farewell fight.

thats even worst! your farewell fight you're suppose to leave a good impression for people to remember for years to come. a come back fight is when you take on someone light since you've been out for a while, a tune up fight to get the feel of it again.

Floyd too old, I'm one of his biggest fans but both Thurman and Canelo beat him easily at this point, lost time Floyd looked sharp was in 2013, he's looked slow and easy to hit ever since
