Pacman did have consequences to not fighting TC with the HBO PPV dilemma. Yeah we know Floyd likes them May dates but the landscape points to a couple interesting PPV options in September. The Garcia-Thurman winner, chasing history at a catchweight against then possible WBO MW champ Canelo or fighting Pacman if Pacman somehow gets by Crawford. The only really marketable fight in May would be to go straight into the Pacman rematch and who knows you might be right and this might be the fight that happens.

GGG is an HBO fighter so the negotiations would be difficult and there is too much political red tape for that to be a realistic option. Triple G needs to focus on landing the Jacobs fight to continue to boost his profile. Floyd would do bigger business fighting Pacman in a rematch.

and to be honest my opinion is that mayweather wont be coming back. hes just an attention whore and wants people to talk about him again, which is what people are now doing. I think floyd expected his legacy to be far greater than it has been, people pretty much stopped talking about him after he retired, certainly very few people want to see him back in the ring.

The whole world is waiting for Canelo vs. GGG, only Manny fans are waiting for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao II! Mayweather vs. GGG would make more money than any other fight we could dream of! Don't forget, Mayweather's contract with Showtime ended with the Berto fight! HBO would go crazy for Mayweather vs. Golovkin!

Floyd vs DSG/Thurman winner is a legit fight.
How can anybody hate on that?
