I don't like the way he speaks, but he knows how to gain the fools.

He has said things like:

1) Them Russians are coming to steal what's ours.
2) Kovalev is a bully, I don't like bullies, I won't be bullied.
3) I don't care what's in his gloves.

Padding, that's what is inside his gloves. Bandages, and a fist.

He could have said I don't care how hard he hits, but no, he said I don't care what's in his gloves.

You're just pissed at what Ward said and now want to take what he said out of context and build it into something that was not even implied. And calling Kov a bully is probably the least negative thing he could say! If that chaps your a$$ you would blush at what Mayorga called his opponents and many others in boxing who have had 10 times worse and 10 times more crude things to say. What Ward said doesn't even qualify as talking SHT! I get it, you are new to boxing so stick around and you wont believe what some fighters will say. 1) Kovalev is a bully etc...
2) The russians are coming to steal what's ours.

Feel free to interpret that anyway that you want as well as the other statements. I'm not going to cry and nitpick over a sentence in an interview out of context. It doesn't matter come Nov 19th. May the best fighter win.
