What Kovalev has done in the past doesn't matter in the fight against Ward. Kovalev has never faced an opponent as good as Ward, so beating up on mid-levelers doesn't tell us anything about how well he will perform against Ward.

I think people were asking him questions that suggested there may be something illegal in Kovalev's gloves and Ward was pretty much refusing to say much about it. I don't think he actually believes Kov is dirty.

SHiiat..Ward has never in his life faced a guy like Kovalev either. Froch and Kessler are not as strong as Kovalev, nor do they box as well.
