That's the Al Haymon mentality and thats why the sport of boxing dont shine like it used to.

I don't think it's a Haymon mentality, I think it's this generation of boxer's mentality. A few of guys who train Haymon managed fighters have come out(one on this site, Stephen Edwards) and said that the fighters are choosing these fights. Haymon gives them a list and they are choosing to fight guys who don't pose a threat. I'll give part of the blame to Haymon for giving them the option but these fighters are picking these garbage match-ups and would rather fight 4-5 less than stellar guys and get paid for those 4-5 easy touches as much as they would for 1 hard fight. Everybody is a bidness man nowadays. Floyd himself recently came out and said these guys are lazy and don't want to put in the work before they get big paydays. They all just want to start out making crazy money.

One of the funniest cases is Decubas tweeting Golovkin's name using Lara's account. He kept tweeting that Lara can fight anywhere, HBO, even in Kazakhstan. When asked why he can't use his cellphone to reach out to Loeffler, or Haymon, he couldn't explain why.

Funny part is Loeffler called Haymon recently and inquired about Lara, according to Decubas himself. Guess what Decubas is now saying. He says fight is hard to make as predicted just like the other phony ducks. Lara's manager is now asking whether Golovkin can fight on Showtime or not, apart from hintng he wants $4 mil.

I just watched the Stevens/Golovkin fight again. I have to say the Golovkin was unrelenting against Stevens. And Stevens is no stiff, he has power and speed but GGG walked right through him. Stevens used to be a light heavyweight for Christ's sake and Golovkin beat him up for 8 rounds. I don't think Stevens should get in the ring with Golovkin again. He should be happy he got out of that fight without serious injury.
