He was sick, that much is clear. He obviously was not drained when he weighed in 4 lbs overweight with a long time to go.

i like him too. i just hate to see him fnck himself up trying to prove hes something hes not. i cant see him beating top guys at mw (if there are any). he might have a nice career at jrmw when he finally does outgrow ww.

I think his face is way too slim, you can see every bone in his body and he doesn't have an ounce of fat on him.

Still remember how he looked at 152 against Carson Jones in the 2nd fight. Really strong and healthy.

Obviously he's not built for 160, but he could fight there as we saw.

GGG is not just bigger, but also as you say, a total beast at 160.

While I would slightly favor him over Thurman, Brook has not shown he's the best at WW. Believing he is, is much different than proving he is. A win over one top WW is hardly showing he's the best. That's why I want him to fight these guys instead in his division not two divisions above. We need to know if Spence, Brook, Thurman, Garcia, or Vargas is the best, cuz NOT one of them have separated themselves from the pack yet.

I read so many statements in the media by Brook saying how making 147 was killing him. He said he felt very weak all the time and was so hungry he had trouble getting to sleep. The fact that he is even considering a return to 147 makes it hard to believe making 147 was as difficult for him as he claimed it was. I think he will find some way out of fighting Spence. If he does fight Spence then I give him credit for fighting the welterweight the other champions won't fight. I would pick Spence by KO.

I know Brook kills himself to make weight, but I don't follow him enough to have seen any weigh-ins for example, so I searched up Brook-Bizier weigh in and:

He doesn't need to make 154, but I bet you he could. It's not really any difference to Brook being 153 and having to cut those last 6lbs imo.
Golovkin looked extremely gaunt at the Brook weigh-in, I really don't see any way he makes 154 without being zombie-like.

Some call Golovkin a small MW, he most certainly is not.

                    he looked drawn against brook......

also his trainer & his team are a bunch of babbling idiots. golovkin himself know he would never ever attempt to kill himself to make 154. unless we are talking a 30 million pay day in that case he will drain himself and show up to the fight in full zombie form. why do u think he only says floyd at 154? because at least he will be rewarded with such a drain......

                    come on man.........

His team has vehemently denied rumors of any illness. You don't know how hard those last 4 lbs were to lose, for an aging fighter that's been in same division or above for 12 years.
