That's how it's always been for the sanctioning bodies I don't know why people acting like canelo getting some special treatment in this situation.... Arum has done this plenty of times with his fighters moving up in weight fighting for belt previously held in lower weightclass

Not really getting this - I mean cool if the WBO want to do that but I'm pretty sure that if GBP just offer Saunders a decent payday - indeed almost certainly waaay less than the champions mandatory split - he'd take it. And if Billie Joe really doesn't want it he can just insist on his champion's mando split by the numbers and it'd almost certainly kill it dead.
