    So how many people does he draw in America?

    What were his PPV number for the Tito fight? {remember, ask yourself, how many were his fans and how many were Tito fans}

      It doesn't matter who draws the crowd, it takes two people to make a fight. Also Mayorga had the title, while Oscar was coming back from a 20 month layoff I believe. It should have been a 70 to 30 split for Oscar at least, but they just gave him a flat out rate of 2 mil. That and I heard a rumor that Don King told Mayorga he was going to give him a big bonus for a KO, thats why Mayorga was so wreckless early on. Now his record is what 26-7, and he will be lucky to make even a million in a fight again.

        Not really. Youd be suprised by how unsuccesful his fights have been.

        Floyd will draw many more, thats for sure.

          Yepp, Mayorga's last fight he was fighting undercard (Rahman-Barret) and it pulled off a bit over 100k pvv sales I believe. I believe Mayorga made like 200k for that fight himself, if not less.

          Mayweather is definetly a draw, 350k ppv draws in a bull**** fight like Judah-Mayweather? Thats gotta tell you something. Hey, if Hopkins vs De la Hoya, an old boring boxer, sold 1 mil ppv's, Mayweather vs De la Hoya will do great.

              If Mayorga could of got more than 2 million for fighting someone else, then he should of done so, but he couldn't.

              Two people can make a fight bigger, but those two people together have to be big names, ex: Oscar and Tito generated 1.4 million together.

              Oscar can fight some bum and make more than Tito vs Mayorga

              Oscar is like the Tyson of the lower weights, they come to see him, not the other guy, if the guy is good, then that is a bonus and a few more people will watch

                I also think that Mayorga has some of a crowd Maybe not the best but he has fans for sure I would watch anytime he fights. I wonder if Mayweather thinks he's going to get a 50/50 purse with Delahoya?? something tells me this fight might not happen.

                  Put it this way, who does he have left to fight now that he is not the champ anymore and a risky fighter with power? He going to have to go right back to undercards to build himself back up or go back to his home country and fight there.

                    I believe they were talking about giving Mayweather something like 22.5-23 mil USD.
