Haye has a mando shot against the Ruiz vs Parker winner for the WBO so I doubt he is gonna fight Briggs. I think Haye should have been or should be a man of his word but his title shot for a primary belt is gonna ensure that he wont fight Briggs since Briggs would have a secondary belt. Plus he has leverage to angle for a big money fight with the AJ vs Wlad winner for the WBA Super/IBF titles so that would be a big fight and payday. Then whoever wins that can fight Wilder for the WBC and that Winner has all of the belts and another massive payday. Briggs is gonna be left out of the party but at least he gets to be a World Champ again and to make defenses and get good paydays before he retires.

I think Briggs can KO Browne, seriously.
It's his best shot to get a third strap lol.
It would make a great story if he pulls it off - Lets Go Champ!Comment

The only thing resting on you is Deyotay'so nuts on your chinOMG I cant believe this.....We got a guy testing positive caught red-handed and takes a few months off to get a title shot for the same belt he was caught cheating for.......I dont.....I cant......I dont think I want to watch the HW division ever again.......Thankfully I still got Deontay Wilder my hope rest on this man...the only clean legit hw champion of the world...what a sad time this is.
Note: I dont know if Im just devastated and cant comprehend things right now...but the article states this title was vacated by Fury...but wasnt Tyson 'THE SUPER CHAMPION' and Chagaev the regular champion....so that would mean that Browne is getting a shot at the same title he tested positive on vs. Chagaev?......anyways....**** this division.Comment

I suspect Ortiz is being lined for a run at the WBC or IBF with Hearn in control of the WBA already so to speak. If Wlad beats AJ Ortiz is favourably positioned to be fast tracked to a title shot. Not only are their rankings terrible, but they decide it's a good idea for the 5th and 8th to fight for their belt. WTF?
1. Luis Ortiz
2. Wladimir Klitschko
3. Alexander Ustinov
4. Fres Oquendo
5. Lucas Browne
6. David Haye
7. Manuel Charr
8. Shannon Briggs
9. Joseph Parker
10. Jarrell Miller
Haye has plans already as does Wlad, Browne I believe is legally obligated to the title I believe Oquendo is but isn't ready and has been given a 120 days to prepare himself for his heavyweight cash out. Ustinov appears to be biding his time.
The WBA will have read down the list starting from the top and for one reason or another we've ended up with 5th vs 8th, peculiar but you're not in the least surprised as any of aren't. This is boxing, WBA boxing.Comment

How is Charr ranked 7? didnt he get shot or stabbed recently and just barely returning?
I cant take any rankings seriously if they have Fres Oquendo in the top 5.Comment
