People like to complain about Arum but he does give us good fights every year. It's crazy how people try to blame Arum for everything that's wrong with boxing! Many tried to say Arum was the reason for the so call cold war between GBP & TR but now that Haymon stole most of GB stable, people still try to blame Arum. Get real people, Haymon has over 200 fighters signed & the PBC series has been mediocrity at best.

I thought 2014 was worse. It's no surprise this year that boxing has suffered. In 2016 boxing has become even more niche because as a casual, if you paid big money for "the dud" in May 2015 are you going to believe anymore hype from these self-serving hype artist promoters? Course not - you're gonna stick with MMA because it delivers nearly every time.

2016 is ending well but the middle of the year was poor. Boxing as a business keeps shooting itself in the foot. The right matchups don't happen when they should. It should be as simple as picking a ripe fruit but promoters continually let the fruit spoil on the tree.

Even in the UK its not what it should be. The obvious matchups in the last 2/3 years were Tyson/Joshua, Brook/Khan, Quigg/Frampton, Flanagan/Crolla and only one got made.

PBC was a great idea but its execution has been poor. The inactivity of so many of their top fighters is inexcusable. Some haven't fought at all and others just once. A few twice. That is why Vanes came out and said what he did. He is just saying what I suspect others are thinking. People jumped on him and said he has had chances - yeah, good, but what they missed is that he was saying "hey, I'm still active, I know I have to earn another shot but I can only do that if I fight, where are the fights?"

This is the pot calling the kettle black! Arum protected Manny (cuts, stadiums, scared of needles, etc.) just like Oscar is protecting Canelo. Did we get Pac vs. Crawford? No, we got Pac vs. Vargas. How long has Roach been begging for Pac vs. Garcia? The excuse was Arum vs. Haymon feud. Now that the feud is over, what are we getting: Crawford vs. Molina! Is that the best they could do? I doubt it! Everything Oscar learned, is from his dealings with Arum!

Meh.

Cannot stand Arum at the best of times, but he makes a legit point. Waiting for GGG to get old is a slimy move which kills the sport. I think Canelo has balls, but his team are killing his career.

2016 the worst ppv rip off year.... Canela vs khan and canela vs smith both rip offs!!!

Manny vs bradley3 and manny vs vargas both ppv ripoffs as well!!!

Pbc is the only promoter who gave us great fights for free and $6 on showtime.........
