One of the featured bouts on this weekend's Top Rank pay-per-view card that is headlined by Manny Pacquiao's challenge of WBO welterweight titlist, Jessie Vargas, is Nonito Donaire's defense of his WBO 122-pound belt against unbeaten mandatory challenger Jessie Magdaleno.

When Walters stopped him donaire said featherweight was too big for him. I don't think he's fought at the weight since. What's changed?

First they have to see if Donaire can get past Magdaleno.....not a given. Youth vs experience is often a toss-up.

Arum always seems to talk about a future big fight whenever his guy is already signed to fight someone else

Arum tends to underestimate fighter's opponents

All promoters do that. Lead up to a big fight, the scribes always ask the main characters questions for stories. Scribes are always scrambling for a new story. It's what they do.

Maybe 4-5 years ago, but right now I don't give Donut Air much chance to beat either fighter.

So why no Rigo rematch? I don't understand how someone can get dominated by a fighter and just be okay with not even trying to avenge it, unless they know that it's a fight they simply can't win... I guess he's not too small for 126 if that means he would have to fight Rigo again. Eh...

You didn't follow the aftermath. Both guys were willing to rematch. HBO and Arum, Rigo's own promoter treated Rigo like SHT and no one was willing to pick up the rematch for fear that it would lack excitement or rather it would be boring.
