    Monzon
    Clottey
    Vitali
    Tyson (Mike)
    Dunn

Toney is both a defensive wizard and slick Irondanhamza, but I know we will disagree on that until the end of time.

What kind of defensive wizard gets hit at will by Dave Tiberi and Drake Thadzi?

Buchanan wasn't a really slick fighter besides his footwork, same applies to Laguna or Starling.

for sure. Just look at Freddie Norwood (was recently watching his fight against JMM).

Not the most physically gifted fighter, but knew how to close up any targeting area, was good with catching parrying shots, had good reflexes, and was experienced enough to gauge/feel shots out.

I think some of the classic european high guard boxers were pretty hard to catch clean. Neither Maidana, Khan, nor Alexander were able to dent Kotelnik.
Felix Sturm in his prime was also difficult to land clean on, it was a nightmare to overcome his jab and break through his guard.

Vitali is the GOAT on the ¨being hard to hit despite not being slick¨ department. Excellent defense based on reflexes and controlling the distance

Someone that hasn't been mentioned is Sergio Martinez, he had great defense purely based on footwork. Once his legs were gone, he was a sitting duck and easy prey, just ask Cotto

                Clotteys performance vs pacquiao

only fighter in history to shell up for 12 rounds and still leave the other guys face looking worse
